I agree with you. But sometimes logic is cold and doesn't consider certain dimensions of a problem.When intuition tells you that a situation is happening a certain way, and your gut feelings are to get extremely angry and say/do something that you will later regret, it's very helpful to take a moment and think, "Logically, what would be the best way to handle this?"Hmm, I think I'd say I learned that while logic is useful, it's not always the best way to make a decision. Sometimes intuition and gut feelings are wiser than just crunching the numbers.
If logic dictates diplomacy, I try to be diplomatic. But if logic dictates I have a public temper tantrum, I've done that, too (it tends to work quite well when I'm in line at a bank and the teller is being a premium-class idiot).
Come to think of it, I think it would've been more correct to have originally said that I've learned a balance between logic and intuition/emotion is necessary when tackling any situation. Both must be considered, methinks.
