Great Titles for Trek XII..?

Some good titles, I think...

  • The Final Frontier
  • These Are the Voyages
  • Strange New Worlds
  • To Boldly Go
  • Where No Man Has Gone Before

They've pretty much all been listed before in this thread, but why not?

Personally, I'd say that the new film should either be called To Boldly Go or Strange New Worlds. The latter especially if the movie actually involves exploring a new planet -- which is something that, oddly enough, no Star Trek film has ever actually been based on.

I personally like Star Trek: Worlds That Never Were. I have no idea what it means, but it sounds cool.

More seriously, The Final Frontier is easily the best stand alone title I can think of. The fact that it was used previously as a subtitle doesn't matter too much, I don't think.

Where No One Has Gone Before is too long and too ambiguous, and I think the plural in Strange New Worlds would be a problem unless the plot actually involves several new worlds, which it probably won't. Neither of these is very catchy anyway.
