Great Supernatural spoiler episode 6x17!

This does sound interesting. I normally avoid all spoilers but I've been checking out them this season to see if there is any hope for a return to form for the show and this is the first to intrigue me. The others--especially the one about virgins, dragons, and the series' most blatant breaking of the fourth wall with the alternate universe episode with the guys waking up as Jared and Jensen generated a lot of antipathy.

But this series is using time travel as liberally as ENT.

And......here's a twitter post from Jim Beaver copied and pasted from supernatural.tv--

Jim has the best tweets. He was posting for calm and more responsible gun ownership after the Tucson shootings, but he often tweets about what happens on set as well. From the not quite as serious subject matter file--

Jim said:
Jared just tried to pull my trousers off during my close-up. I told him he had to buy me dinner first.
(On the 18th).

And: I'm sick. Jensen's sick. Mitch[Misha] is sick. Our cinematographer Serge is sick. PAs, grips, camera guys, ADs, everybody but freaking Jared (16 hours ago).

That would make sense with Jensen missing the San Francisco con this past weekend. Only Jared showed up. Damn, Jared is a weirdo in real life. :guffaw: Jim's always talking about how Padalecki tries to mess with people on set. He was tickling Jim's toes during that entire scene in "Dream a Little Dream of Me" between Bobby and Dean in the hospital about Bobby's late wife after he'd been rescued by the boys from his wife trying to kill him in his dream. Jim got the scene done then threatened to kick Jared's ass once the director yelled "Cut!" That take went in the episode, so if you ever watch that eppy again, Jared is tickling Jim Beaver's feet during that entire bonding scene between Bobby and Dean.

Yeah, I've heard that Jared is a bit... uh... wacky in real life. And Jensen is a real nice guy.

I love the idea for this episode. I always like genre crossovers, especially with Westerns. Kung Fu, Brisco County, Firefly, the Western episode of Enterprise, the OK Corral episode of Star Trek and so on. So I'm looking forward to this.

Anyone see this episode synopsis for 6x15?

Sam and Dean are transported to a parallel world where they are mistaken for two actors named Jared and Jensen, who star in a TV series called Supernatural, which is about two brothers who hunt monsters for a living.

That should be cool.:techman:

My comcast DVR recorded what was supposed to be a new episode of Supernatural ("Like a Virgin"--6-12)...except it's just an episode of Nikita, and (based upon a search online) that Supernatural episode won't air until next week. Of course, my DVR says next week's episode is "Unforgiven" (6-13)...

But.....but.....we needed another opportunity to "sample" Vampire Diaries and Nikita. Actually, it's all about the new storyline on Smallville being unfortunately similar to
the Arizona shootings
Too bad they sent out multiple advance screeners for media for this episode of SPN....and that it was praised as excellent follow up to the events of Sam trying to murder Bobby.
