Great opening sequence

I don't know how Perry Mason or Hawaii 5-0 or The Outer Limits or the George Reeves Superman or Fringe have been overlooked.

PS Or Lost in Space.

PPS Curse senile dementia!
Dragnet!

Best Music - Millennuim
Best Visual - Game of Thrones
Best Music + Visual - The Prisoner

Pitch perfect combination of rattling music, striking imagery and bizzare shit. Just like the show.

Hugo - Is a number, and no longer feels like a free man

As a big fan of Space:1999 as a kid, the theme for both seasons has always stuck in my head. That also included the ITC spinning logo with it's music too, it was quite jarring to me to learn as I got older that it wasn't actually part of the opening theme, just the ITC logo theme.

I think that's one reason I didn't get into the Muppet Show that much. I'd see the ITC logo and get excited that Space: 1999 was coming on, then I'd get disappointed that it was only the Muppet Show.

^Me too. Rewatched it on DVD recently and it still mostly holds up. Except for the awful 90s power-ballads at the end of some eps.

Oh YES! The Prisoner has one of the most memorable beginnings ever! It's perfect for the series. :bolian::bolian:

I really love the opening for Dexter. It's a great demonstration of how twisted ordinary things can look if you simply choose to see them that way, and how someone like Dexter sees the world all the time.
Dexter would be my choice too. That opening might be the most perfect blend of elements to capture the show of anything I've ever seen. Comedic, disjointed, obscure, symbolic, quirky foreboding & perverse

Just had a flash about the 90s sitcom Wings. I remember the opening sequence being a classical piece along with a the plane flying through the clouds. It's been a long time, not sure if there was anything other than that, but I remember it being very zen-like.

When I was a little kid, the first few seconds of the Ironside opening gave me the creeps. Seemed pretty heavy compared to other opening credits in the early '70s. Great Quincy Jones theme, too.

It's a goddamn disgrace that the most awesome theme of all hasn't even been mentioned:

You're welcome! ;)

I'll raise you a 70's cop show intro and throw in different versions of it too. Your call! Killer car too.

I'm a pretty big fan of "The Newsroom"'s opening.
