I was watching the Voyager episode Inside Man (season 7, ep. 6) I noticed some very unusual foley.
They inserted a sound effect of people walking on a hard surface, when the characters are walking in carpeted areas.
Why would they do that?
Maybe there was a noise on set they were trying to cover up?
Once you hear it you can't ignore it, it's fairly distracting.
It's in the very first scene, if you'd like to listen for yourself.
-any theories?
