Average - I much prefer the Replicators as an unstoppable plague of bugs (with that Jaws-like theme tune) and the humaniform Reps have never done anything for me. Also, it felt very much like filler, to be honest. Well-done filler, to be sure, but just filler to pad out a slot in the schedule before something more interesting comes along.

Saw this last night, it was fantastic. I felt genuinely gutted at the end of it, and that shot of Weir and the other replicators emerging from the spacegate was so simple but so, so effective.

Loved the shot, but all I could think is "So? They're replicators, they'll survive fine in space."

^^ That was the original plan, but they were never allowed to complete it (in Atlantis) as the story veered off course thanks to the troublemaker Rep.

Yes they will, but their forward momentum will always carry them away from the gate, and that gate wasnt even round a planet, so they just drift forever, never dying, a living hell.

Until the writers want to dredge them up again. Shades of Lore from Next Generation.

At least Lore was interesting. The Atlantis replicators are the dullest bad guys SG has ever produced.
