The fifth and final season of Gotham premieres January 3, 2019. Also Fox has ordered two more episodes for a total of 12. That means that Gotham will end with exactly 100 episodes.

I'm glad that they added 2 additional episodes since 10 didn't seem to be enough to wrap things up.

Yeah, 12 seems like a nice number of episodes to tie things up, without it feeling rushed.
That's pretty cool that it's ending at exactly 100 episodes.

I am hoping for a only CGI Batman in the finale as a homage to Smallville.

I think I already saw a reference putting together a Batsuit for David Mazouz.

Hopefully they will do a movie in 10-15 years with some of the cast (though a different continuity)... The strength of the show has been some generally great casting (other than Gordon)

I was looking through her Instagram, and she has a picture of herself with Matt Ryan, and now I want to see him as Constatine on Gotham. He's already played him in two different universes, so why not add a third.

and then the higher-ups decide the script needs a rewrite and bring in the Titans writer. He adds "Fuck Batman" to the end of the script, get's a co-writer credit and that's it.

I must say it’s nice to read that Gotham is wrapping up. Seasons 3 and 4 have kind of been running on fumes and a number of the storylines were just going off in odd directions.

Ok that looks pretty damn cool... Maybe a little too similar to The Dark Knight Rises with some of the plot points (and bridges blowing up with gangs ruling the city), but it's got me definitely interested.

Have there been any other versions of Catwoman who have superpowers? The only other one I know of is Batman Returns.
