Normally, I don't like to get tickets in advance, as I think online sales ruin part of the movie going experience, but I saw that the film had Thursday evening shows in my town, so I got tickets. Thursday, May 7th, 7:30pm. I was looking forward to he film, but now I'm super excited like I haven't been about a film in quite awhile! I'm so stoked!!!

Yep! May 7 at 7pm and May 8 at 1pm in IMAX! Then, I'll be seeing it more with family and friends at different times, but I'm all booked for those already!

Yep - Gold Class for Tuesday 12/5/09

Gold Class means we get recliner rockers, drinks, food and it's a small boutique cinema in a massive googleplex.

Since drinks are served that means no morons under 18(legal drinking age in OZ). That coupled with the fact it's around $30 means a higher chance we will have less of the moronic, phone texting little c***s.....err, I mean bimbos who think a night at the flicks means walking up and down the stairs and going out five times.


I would rather pay $30 for Gold Class than suffer for two hours with fucktards in a normal cinema. Funny because I fly economy all the time and it doesn't bother me - put me in a dark cinema with a bunch of giggling, texting and talking little teenage shits and I very quickly develop the urge to rip spines from backs.

Yep. And, because I couldn't go on the 8th, I was going to buy them for the 9th, but I discovered it's opening at my local theater on May 7!!! Yay!!!


actually, I am also thinking of buying some for an Imax the following week. Having never been to one, I'm not sure if they sell out easy there. Could I risk just showing up?

No not yet, I get them the day I see a film, I don't plan theater outings in advance, I wait 'till the 11th hour to plan to go see a film.

Longmont is such a hick town I can get good seats on opening dates.

Never seen a single film I've been to sold-out here ever in my life.

That's the seating chart at the moment, for the biggest and best cinema in London (where the premiere was). In theory it should be the busiest one, and the place everyone will want to see it.

I bought my tickets a few weeks ago via online for an IMAX showing at Friday May 8th Midnight. This is a really big deal for me here...not only am I giving up going away that weekend...but I'M GOING TO A THEATER...further...on opening night !!!!! Something I've never done before and I can say with almost 100% certainty I won't be doing again.....I tell you one thing I'm definitely not going to see this movie more than once OH HELL NO...I'm not dumping any more money into the film...now the merchandise is where I'll be spending...anyone need any extra cereal.... I have about 15 boxes at home...LOL

Yep, I got 4 for 7 on the 7th. I plan to be there at 6. Seats are first come, first served here... I've never been to a theater that actually has specific seats...
