It's been another few months since my last report and some things have happened. I think in my last report I explained about getting approved for something called Persons with Multiple Barriers? Well I'm almost finished completing my application for Persons With Disability, I just have to fill out my section and send it in. The biggest news though is that I finally got my custom brace on Tuesday! Have only worn it one day so far since I haven't gone out anywhere but I will be having to wear it every day for the first week straight before seeing the doctor again. There is significant difference when I step down, I don't feel any pressure on my heel any more and that is what it's designed for. It's not quite finished as they're going to put a little rocker lift so I can roll onto my toes easier. It feels stiff but the doc said that should go away once it's broken in. I have to wear special socks as well.
As for my other problem...it's chronic so as long as I keep it clean there won't be any burning. It's been a lot better though since the onset a couple of years ago. My back and pelvis are still screwed up, feel my pubic bone rubbing up against my pelvis and am doing exercises to try and realign them back but it's going to take a while. So that's the update, some positive progress for once, will let you know if anything changes.
