I'm always up at this time. I'm an early bird. Crack o' dawn. That's how I roll, baby.
I love early morning hours, so I normally wake and get up around 430 AM. Usually I go to the swimming pool between 5 and 7 AM, but it is closed today for Christmas, so I have been playing with the kitties instead.
I wait.

it's a bit cold for a swim
50mph winds and heavy snow is not good fun. I checked this morning, and the snow seems to be of the good packing variety. I have to figure out how I'm going to dig my way out of this.

I had to get up on Wednesday at 3:30 to be at work at 5:00 AM. I have to admit, I actually liked the quietness of the morning and watching dark turn into light. Don't want to do it on a regular basis though because I'm not an early bird but it did make getting up that early tolerable.
As for today, I was up at 8:30, went through the stockings, and now listening to some new music (The Music of Glee) I bought.
