Where does it come on the manly scale if you carry your wife's strap-on?

Is it diamond encrusted?

Ow

Better think happy thoughts!

Is it diamond encrusted?

Is it unmanly to not be okay with anal fissures?

It's only unmanly if you cry.

Stop spamming up the thread! I keep checking it only to find more nonsense about diamond strap-ons.

How about we leave the conversation about pony dildos for the bronies to mull over and instead tackle something a little more relevant, like the ethics of photographing a stranger and then distributing said photo for the sake of discussion and/or teasing online?

I mean, it's impossible in this day and age to prevent it, obviously, and surely we all have seen memes and thread bombs made of photos of strangers... but where is the line? Is it ok if its someone you know? Someone you don't know? Or just some random image you find online?

For myself, the furthest I've considered this point was with a thread bomb I made a few years ago, featuring a poster on this very board. I used their profile photo to make a thread bomb that wasn't exactly friendly. In retrospect, I wish I hadn't done it. But a good thing came out of it - he asked me to not use his photos that way again, and I promised I wouldn't -- and I haven't.

What's your take on this?

This is actually one of the reasons I have started deleting photos on my photobucket account (or at least move them so the links are broken). It's not foolproof because obviously photos can be saved by someone else when I post them. But I like posting photos and this is kind of my little compromise. Someone did some photoshopping of a pic I used in TNZ and I don't care about that. It's almost not as bad when you can see who is using it and how.

One of the things I hate about Facebook is that even though I'm no longer on it, there are pictures of me posted there and I have no say over that and no way of even knowing which pictures are up. You're almost better off staying on the site just to keep a closer watch on things.

In terms of strangers, I don't think anyone should ever take a pic of someone to mock them later, whether with one person or an entire forum. It's just mean.

What's your take on this?

I'm of the opinion that anything in the public domain is fine. Still, if a person asks to have their image taken down, I believe it is in the best interest of all involved to respect those wishes. Of course, it's better to get permission in the first place, but that's not always possible.

That's one of the things I dislike strongly about Facebook. You can't really delete your account. They keep everything, even if you want it removed.
