2008 was pretty good for me, but not very good for a lot of people I know. Here's to a better 2009 for everyone.

2008 was AWESOME for me!!!!
My partner moved in with me, I got rid of about 90kilos of excess weight in a leeching, life sucking dead weight user who has been hanging around since 1984, I started planning my trip to New Zealand(two months away now - YAAAYY!!!!!!), I got another much more high paying job that allowed me to deck out my place with all the new mod cons(it's GREAT!!!!!), I took two small holidays down south(first time ever)and had a BLAST!!!!!
LOTS of good stuff happened and even MORE planned for this year.

2008 was mixed for me. My dad died of cancer four weeks later my son was born.
'08 was mostly crap...lost a job for a few months while waiting for a new one to start (which it did and it's better and it's going fairly well now).
Spent time in the hospital due to organ shutdown...almost needed an ambulance but avoided that. Lost a couple people I cared about, severed some relationships due to distance. Mixed bunch, but '09 could be better, except I fear it shan't be due to the economic issues plaguing everyone these days.
