I never knew it at the time, but that was a weird toy line -- taking giant robot and kaiju figures from multiple anime series, Godzilla, and even Toei Spider-Man's Leopardon, and mashing them up into a single toy line. (But didn't Transformers start similarly, as a mashup of two or three unrelated Japanese toy lines? Or am I thinking of Gobots?) Good grief, they even had a sub-line of vehicles that included the team vehicles from tokusatsu shows like Gorenger, Kyodain, and Inazuman.I was more of a Shogun Warriors kinda guy.
Godzilla and the other regular figures are in triple numbers, just the arm of a SW Godzilla has recently sold for $160 (the arm was, of course, in good condition). Rodan is quite rare, and one recently sold on Ebay for $950, and even incomplete figures can get you upwards of $500, a complete one in good condition would get you upwards of a grand.I had every one of the robots on that page. I didn't have any combat vehicles. I even had a few of the large figures - Godzilla, Rodan, Raydeen, and Mazinga. I wonder what they would be worth now?
