God help me, I'm watching One Life to Live

One Life to Live has always had a lot of sci-fi elements to them. This is not the first time they have done a time travel story. Bo's brother Clint once went in back in time to the Old West. There was a story with an underground city once. I have seen a lot worse show over the years than daytime soaps.

I thought I was the only one that remember Blair was not white once.

They did a bit about it on the show once. They were showing all of Asa's wives. They had a shot of the original Blair and then cut back to the current actress, who has a WTF??? look on her face.

Continuity is not something that concern themselves with at all. So do they still do the "Now the role of X is being played by Y"?

Sometimes. I remember back when Kassie Wesley (now Kassie DePaiva) first took over the role of Blair. There was simply a voiceover stating that "the role of Blair Daimler is now being played by Kassie Wesley."

I think the most recent incidents of this on OLTL happened when a new actor took over the role of Michael McBain, and on GH when there was a temporary recast of Jax.

But sometimes the change in actor isn't announced like that, for storyline reasons such as the character is back from being presumed dead and it's supposed to be a surprise for the audience as well as the other characters.

Has anyone else been watching this story line? It's been very, very interesting.

The woman who plays the professor in 1968 is doing a fantastic job.

Say what you will about soaps - regardless of quality, if you watch more than 5 minutes of one you start getting addicted. Its like the heroin of television.

Should be interesting, now that Todd knows Jessica is really Tess.

I think I'm starting to really hate Clint. It's one thing to go after Dorian directly, but to use her underage foster-daughter...? :scream:
