News Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire anticipation thread

I found the final trailer kind of odd. It's very short, and doesn't show or tell anything particularly new. It's almost like a reminder instead of a final big exciting push.

It does introduce a few new elements which got me really excited. I won't spoil here.
Do they really need to cross the streams again though?

the 1904 firefighters have an 8 on their helmets. I think its safe to assume they are from Hook and Ladder 8, the future Ghostbusters HQ.

Adam Savage gets slimed.

Okay, there is no fucking reason for them to have a batch of the GB2 mood slime in the warehouse unless it's coming back in the movie.

Ugh.

It would be pretty awesome for them to really acknowledge that.

I'm super pumped for this.

Got a nice new piece of kit for my suit from this too... never had good radio, now i'm ok going with a mix of 84 and modern. Identified the radio they're using and picked one up.

I'm so thrilled we're getting another series of Tested videos of Adam visiting the set. I enjoyed the first series almost as much as Afterlife and I loved the hell out of that film. Can't wait to see more!

I just happened to see this video in my YouTube feed and immediately watched. I love everything Adam and Jason talk about the sets and props of the firehouse and the importance of making sure the place feels real and lived in. I also loved hearing Jason reminisce about being a kid on that set but also felt his bittersweetness about his father missing out on the production of Frozen Empire.

And yes, I adore Mckenna's enthusiasm for the films and sets.

It's always fun when you get two people who know a franchise this well together. I can't imagine how cool it must be for Jason to be able to remember sitting on those steps and watching his dad and the cast filming the first two movies.

Are we sure her character isn't really Egon and Janine's kid? ;)

Apparently most of the movie was shot in Canada, and one reason for that is because apparently it's getting costly to shoot in NYC these days.
