News Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire anticipation thread

Uh, no? It was shot almost entirely in London.

Actually, I might be confusing it with Afterlife which was actually shot near Alberta. But not a lot of Frozen Empire was shot in NYC apparently. Establishing shots most likely. So you're right, my bad.

Never heard of it. What is it famous for? ;)

In the late 90's they hosted the London Monarchs football team in the WLAF which was created by the NFL to spread football to other countries. Once that team went out of business the town of London hasn't really made much notice in the news since then.

the shot a fair bit of the sewer dragon chase in NYC with the stunt doubles.

Patton Oswalt and Paul Rudd were on Colbert the last couple of nights to talk about the film, which included two new clips from the film:

I rewatched it last weekend. First time I saw it since the theater. As someone who isn't a fan of the film I have to admit that it sat better with me on second viewing. The thing that kinda stuck out this time though was that there were too many songs in the film. It's like every time they cut to a new scene it had to include a song.

I've seen Afterlife, but it hadn't quite sunk in just how great a casting choice Mckenna Grace is. In the trailers for Frozen Empire, it hit me how much she looks like a young Egon. Quite a good resemblance. So, not only good job on the casting, but on the hair and makeup as well. She does look like a Spengler.

I just found out that McKenna Grace played Paige on Young Sheldon, I had no idea that was her. And according to Wikipedia she's only 17 and she's already writing and an executive producer for other movies, which is pretty impressive.

Adam explores the new proton packs, which are much like the originals:

I gotta say, the foam mold looks like a spaceship out of a 70s/80s low budget series.

Heh, so that's why she looks so familiar. She has a bright future ahead of her if she has multiple accolades at her age. That's definitely impressive.

She was also young Carol Danvers in the first Captain Marvel movie.
