GhostBusters 3 is Finally Being Made. (2020 Release)

I think that was just him pointing out how dangerous the proton packs were and how Peck was "right" to want to know more about them. He's just saying that they're so powerful no one could defend the Ghostbusters' "right" to have them unencumbered. Not even the NRA.
Proof positive that no matter how right someone is about a particular topic, it really all boils down to the quality of the message delivery.

This thread is making me want to get back to watching The Real Ghostbusters, but Netflix has pulled it. Damn.

It's like Annie Potts hasn't aged a day. :D

Maybe she is of the same species as Keanu Reeves who also doesn't grow older
I'm wonder if it's just the wig or if they used makeup or something, because she does look quite a bit older in Young Sheldon. Or it could be the other way around and they are purposefully making her look older in Young Sheldon.

I could stand a 'smile a lot' situational comedy better than a slapstick, go for the guffaws type.

That said, it's Ghostbusters. Of course it's a comedy.

The entire series (including the Slimer episodes) is available as SD on BD in germany, the packaging says it's region B locked but several people on the blu-ray.com board tested them and they play on american players, they habe to be able to play 50Hz material though which apparently not all can. PS4 and Xbox One can do it for example.

And digital copies are available on Amazon, YouTube and (probably, but I'm not checking right now 'cause I'm downloading some stuff whilst also backing up my Big Finish audio plays for the hopefully far off day when they lose their Who license and iTunes slows my laptop to a crawl) iTunes.

That's basically how I would define the humor in the first 2 movies. And the trailers for those were mostly pretty serious, often because the humor doesn't translate that well to brief clips. The only major laugh line I can recall is...
"Don't try any of those old cheap moves on me this time. It's different."
"Oh no. I have all new cheap moves."

One of the things confirmed in the article is the fact that the kids are directly related to Egon with them being their Grandfather. I never realized it until after the article pointed it out, but the girl does have a resemblance to Egon.

I love how Murray got the article's writer to wear the photon pack for an hour so he could truly appreciate how burdensome that particular experience was like. :D

Even with the heavy, thirty pound 'gold' prop proton pack and its batteries and moving parts, to realize that a 'real' proton pack would weigh about twice that much, and our heroes wore them all the way up the stairs to the forty-first floor of Spook Central is certainly a reality check.

But that reality check is likely still very much worth it in the end :D In a way, it's still quite amazing how much of a detailed prop it is, down to the shaking the wands make. I never realized just how functional they were, and it gives me more appreciation hearing about it.
