So, the collection of molds and the coveralls with the "Spengler" name badge on it belonged to... Spengler? Wow!

maybe I "got" it but thought it was drivelSo what?
It was a good movie. I laughed a lot. You just didn't get it.
What are you basing that on?Looks like they're ignoring Ghostbusters 2.
thought so too.. mainly because the Ecto is pre-refit.What are you basing that on?
My only problem with Janine, is that I really like her and Louis together, I thought they were a great match.
Ecto-1. The car in GB2 was Ecto-1A. Easily a new car rather than an upgrade of the old.thought so too.. mainly because the Ecto is pre-refit.

In the trailer they say something like, "No ghosts in 30 years." 30 years is 1989 (GB2) rather than 1984 (GB1). Not proof at all, but curious as to anything that the trailer might specifically say that I missed.

Shit I meant 1A, sorry. But where is it said in the movie that Ecto-1A was the same car? (Even though I also always assumed as much.) ...if it was the same car, why would they need to get a new license plate?No.. in GB 2 it was the Ecto 1 A.. an upgrade of the original..it was the same car retooled
The game had slime-blowers in it, and the Vigo painting. Not sure if there was more, but that's two. It’s both ignoring it and not explicitly mentioning it at the same time. The game did the same thing.
The firehouse sign from 2 and Ecto-1A parts are in a glassed in storage area on the left back wall of the firehouse garage. The game had slime-blowers in it, and the Vigo painting. And Egon adopts? I can see that.

I can't. And the trailer implies that the girl with the glasses is Egon's granddaughter.
. I mean even regular dialogue would be interrupted by jokes.. the jokes didn't flow naturally. Like they'd be talking about university stuff and make a WonTon soup joke mid sentence.
Real Ghostbusters has always been considered a separate universe from the movies.I think RGB is one of the most thoughtful cartoons ever, but for the sake of a clean canon, they might ignore that too
The mother is Egon’s daughter and her kids are his grandchildren. They trailer made that pretty clear. The mom looks like she could be in her 30s and Egon could have had a child between GB and GB2.No way she's a granddaughter. Math doesn't work. She's a teenager meaning she was born in, we'll say 2005, for her to be granddaughter that would mean her parents would've had to be born in the 1980s. Egon didn't have kids so unless were playing a card that said he had a family or illegitimate children during the original movies.... She has to be daughter her fathered late in life. 30 years isn't enough time to span TWO generations.
I'm a fan, and I liked it.They weren't, and fans don't like them together
"Got back together"? When were they ever together in the movies? Most likely, she and Egon got back together
