What's the greatest "thrill ride" of a Trek novel. One that really gets you excited and rocks your face?
Anything David Mack ever wrote, especially the finales of Vanguard 3 and 5, the first quarter or so of Warpath, and all of Destiny.

A Time to Kill
Destiny, and the end of Vanguard: Reap the Whirlwind.

Yeah, that works.
...And the recent Destiny trilogy. ...

Warpath is a great one too.
So "anything by David Mack" is probably pretty accurate.![]()

I know it's knocked a lot around here, and it's certainly not the best novel ever, but I couldn't put Before Dishonor down. Can't remember the last Trek book which was that action-packed (maybe Mission:Gamma #4).

I only remember a brief skirmish with a Ferengi that lasted a paragrapgh or so.
The Shatnerverse novels. The Return, Avenger, etc. all feature James T. Kirk, unkillable Trek icon, laying the smack down on the 24th century.
Also, the DS9 Millenium trilogy. And the recent Destiny trilogy. And the Voyager novel Battle Lines. And many more which won't come to mind at the moment.
