Germany exclusive Star Trek trilogy "Prometheus" coming in 2016

At Amazon, it went from "pre-order now" straight to "out of stock". Either pre-orders were insanely high and Amazon didn't bother to inform Cross Cult so that they could print more, or there's some weird shit going on at Amazon.
 
Yes, that's really strange. However it's not the first time I experience something like that: Every online bookstore sells the book, but Amazon is showing weird status messages. Sometimes I think they are more interested in selling DVDs and Blu-Rays than books, especially books from smaller publishing houses. Then again you don't have to buy STP there. By now there are plenty of other options.

By the way: Cross Cult just send me an email, that they received STP2 from the printer. So this one should be available on schedule.
 
Before I ordered my Ocarina of Time 3D copy from amazon it shows the "only 1 left" message thing in red letter. AFTER I ordered it there were two copies available... That was either very weird timing or amazon trying to push me into buying the game by letting me think that there's only one left. Either way it worked and the game was great.
 
I remember one time I was looking something up on Amazon while not signed into my account. They said they only had five of the product left. I instantly logged into my account and when I did suddenly eleven were available.
 
I recently had a book order that I never got a scheduled delivery date for, but got told it would be delivered on release day - even though it hadn't been dispatched the day before it was due to arrive if that were the case. The presumed due date, the item changed to Out of Stock and then Delivery in 2 to 3 weeks, before changing to Delivery in 1 to 2 months. This, despite me having ordered the item five months prior to release date - recieved various explanations from 'we didn't get enough books in ...' (and them unable to explain how early I had to order an item to be guaranteed preorder delivery) to 'supplier issues'
 
I recentymanaged to get my book! So happy, but it was a pain to get it. Amazon.de either didn't have it and then when it did, it refused to ship to my adress in the Netherlands so I needed to find another way.

On the day and week after it got out it wasn't in stock in my Leipziger Comicladen (used to live there) and since I moved away couldn't get it there at all. Then in the Netherlands (Groningen that is) the Dutch bookstores couldn't get it since it was "out of stock" (it still is btw, asked but two hours ago). Amazon then didn't have it in stock and once it did couldn't send it to the Netherlands (why?). Luckilly I found a very nice speciality store which is specialised around German literature and as such he could order it for me. It was there in two days! Pre-ordered the other two right that minute also!

Now once I finished my essay on Dutch/German/USA same-sex marriage law I will finally dive into the book.
 
Great news everyone. Markus Rohde from Cross Cult just told me, that we are now turning our attention to the English editions of "Star Trek: Prometheus". I'm thrilled to tell you, that the master of Klingon culture and Federation politics, Mister Keith DeCandido himself, was hired to have a good look at our scripts and hone them for the international readers. As far as I can see everything is proceeding as planned and the books will be available later that year.

Oh wow, that's awesome. Amazing news on the translation progress, and I love that @KRAD is going to be in on it too, even if it's just a revision pass.
