Germany exclusive Star Trek trilogy "Prometheus" coming in 2016

I had zero interest until @KRAD was mentioned. Now i must have them!!! :techman:

Well, keep in mind, Paris, it doesn't sound like he's involved in the writing. He's just taking a pass at the English translation; he's doing editing, that's all. It's still the work of Bernd Perplies and Christian Humberg.

(That isn't meant as a negative towards them at all, to be clear, I just want to make sure you aren't under the wrong impression. :p)

I has always planned to get this and was looking forward to them but the KRAD info makes me even more interested.

Cross Cult revelaed the publication months of the English version of (apparantly) two thirds of the Prometheus trilogy:
Prometheus #2: The Root of all Fury - January 2017
Prometheus #3: Into the Heart of Chaos - February 2017
While #1 isn't anywhere on their schedule I'd presume it'll be released in December 2016.

Excellent - will be picking this up as a Xmas treat.

I don't suppose there's a link to this? It's not that I doubt you, I just haven't turned anything up from my own searches. Also, are these just e-books or are they print editions?

Yeah, but it's just going to make it harder for me to catch up. At least when they do a bunch of TOS books then I get a bit more time to catch up on the 24th Century stuff.

Speaking of Germany . .. apparently Tor is launching a German imprint or division or something.
It's more like: The publisher S. FISCHER Verlag which is part of the Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holtzbrinck GmbH (Holtzbrinck group) brings the traditional brand TOR to Germany, therefore cooperating with Tor Books which is part of Macmillian which is owned by the the Holtzbrinck group, too. It's all intertwined ... everything is intertwined ...

The good thing is, FISCHER TOR means even more SF and fantasy books for German readers (some of them even written by me, since I was hired by FISCHER TOR to write fantasy stuff for them ;) ).

@Defcon, as a reviewer and a Germanophone, are you going to be reviewing these formally?
Most likely, currently reading Book 1. But these days I'm often too tired to read during my commutes, which normally was the time I did most of my reading, so it is very slow going.
