Wonderment that this thread has survived for so long. Apology that a simple one-off gag has become a four-page space waster. Explanation that I expected it to be scothed by the mods long ago. Bittersweet sign-off from thread participation that brings a tear to the reader's eye.
Post about how the General Audiance shouldn't need a score card just to watch the film and some canon will be swept aside for them to be able to enjoy the film.

Any thread started by STARTREK11 would qualify as a "generic parody thread".
Doubts sincerity of poster. Had to know that too many basement-dwelling Trek fans have little else to do but show how clever they are.
Further rambling bashes of poster, both for content of previous posts disagreed with and ad hominum attacks on what poster's breath may smell like. Calls out poster, safe in the knowledge that the poster has signed off the thread.
Laughs at other posters, stating that they all spend too much time talking about Star Trek and take it too seriously.
Implies that anyone using the internet in the first place is probably a loser, except for me. After all, I only go to internet boards because I'm trying to enlighten the ignorant posters there.
