Generic parody thread

Post about a friend of a friend of a friend of an uncle's brother's cousin's sister's boyfriend who works for ILM as a janitor who sweeps the shop that the new ship will look nothing like the old ship based on nothing but rumors.

Complaint that said information is already available in another thread in the same forum. Innuendo that Woulfe is not a "Real fan" for not reading up on all related threads. Veiled insult designed to cast doubt on the veracity of his source. Sweeping generalization about people who post unsubstantiated rumors, followed by unsubstantiated rumor of my own. Smiley.

bump /bʌmp/ [buhmp]
–verb (used with object) 1. to come more or less violently in contact with; collide with; strike: His car bumped a truck.
2. to cause to strike or collide: He bumped the car against a tree.
3. to dislodge or displace by the force of collision.
4. Informal. to dislodge; to appropriate the privileges of: When the general found there were no additional seats on the plane, he bumped a major. The airline bumped me from the flight.
5. to demote, promote, or dismiss: He was bumped from his job.
6. Informal. to force upward; raise: Demand from abroad bumped the price of corn.

Absurd supposition about nacelle design and behavior clearly cribbed from another thread. Statement of indecision about whether or not Shatner's presence would be good for the film. Expression of distaste for a recent thread about Spock's genetalia. Expression of increased optimism about the casting of Simon Pegg after having watched Shaun of the Dead the other night. Thumbs-up emoticon.

Takes note of Pegg optimism. Grins to self. Repeats mantra: "Hail The Pegg! Hail The Pegg!"

Assertion regarding the canonicity of bifurcation as concerns pon farr. Further supposition about the studio's reluctance to touch the subject in the movie with ten-parsec pole.

Reaches for the BrainSoap as mental image of bifurcated Vulcan member dances playfully across the imagination.

Finally vents once and for all about stupidity and crudeness of the Spock-forked-penis meme, despite having made such a joke several pages upthread. Assertion that all TOS fans are chauvinist pigs, and that the aforementioned subject proves said point. Exact details of such "proof" are not spelled out.

Irritation directed at leadprophet for his obvious creative bankrupcy. Refutation of nacelle rumor. Citation of nebulous "friendship" with classmate whose mother's cousin is former ILM VFX director Joe Johnston. Claim this demonstrates acuracy of prior refutation. Mad face emoticon.

Inquisition as to location of water closet.

Comparison to material resting therein to this thread.

Two words: "Forked Nacelles!"

Makes point that was hashed and rehashed several posts ago, but can't be bothered to read entire thread.

Edited: possibly racist joke deleted.

Quotation of previous post in the eight seconds the possibly racist joke was allowed to live before being edited out of existence. Raging screed against poster's racism and insensitivity, peppered with anti-semetic remarks which render this post twice as bigoted as the one to which it replies. Placement of laughing emoticon in a failed attempt to demonstrate my anti-semitism was "all in good fun." Futile attempt to "bond" with the previous poster by pointing out that at least we have Trek in common.

Loose reference to IDIC. Self-righteous disgust. Rolleyes.

[image]Incredibly graphic photoshop rendering of a bifurcated, green-tinted male sexual organ with a pointy glans[/image] captioned with the words "take that."

Far too many ROFL emoticons.

Comes into thread far, far too late to make any relevant comment.

Repeats points already made in CAPITAL LETTERS and/or bold font

Quotes someone else's post and then begins my own post with "Umm...", indicating immediately and arrogantly that I think the poster I am quoting is a dumbass.

Wanders in without reading any of the previous pages except for the OP's topic and attempts to get back to the original intent.

Seemingly unrelated maniacal laughter and allusion to zombies.

Literally dubious phrase indicating the poster with whom the following text originated:
Quoted text.
Feeble attempt to use above quotation as an excuse to bring up own advocacy of the inclusion of a certain local radio broadcaster in the cast of the movie.

Scornful debunking of previous allusion to zombies.

Arrogant presentation of proposed alternative interpretation, with "BOO-YEAH!" smiley for emphasis.
