Once more unto the breach, dear friends!

Since January 14th, we have completed line-by-line threads on all six of the TOS movies! For those interested in reviewing, here they are:

As a reminder, you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

REPORTER: How does it feel to be back on the Enterprise bridge?

 

[Leandar]

Harriman: Excuse me, excuse me! There will be plenty of time for questions later... I'm Captain John Harriman. I'd like to welcome you all aboard.

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: It's our pleasure.

 

[Randor]

I want you to know how excited we all are to have a group of living legends with us on our maiden voyage.I remember reading about your missions when i was in grade school

 

[SantaTom]

KIRK: Oh really? (a beat) Well, may we have a look around?

(There was something about Shatner's delivery of the 'oh really' line that just convinced me, once and for all, that he had stopped playing the character of Kirk and was now just playing William Shatner.)

 

[Leandar]

Harriman: Please.

 

[SantaTom]

CHEKOV: Demora!

 

[Leandar]

Reporter: So, Captain... this is the first starship Enterprise in thirty years without James T. Kirk in command. How do you feel about that?

 

[SantaTom]

KIRK: Oh, just fine. I'm glad to be here to send her on her way.

 

[LeadHead]

Reporter: And what have you been doing since you retired?

 

[SantaTom]

KIRK: Keeping busy...

 

[LeadHead]

Reporter: Captain Kirk, just a few more questions...

 

[SantaTom]

HARRIMAN: Why don't we give the Captain a chance to look around?

 

[LeadHead]

Chekov: Keptin, I'd like for you to meet the Helmsmen of The Enterprise-B. Demora. This is Ensign Demora Sulu.

 

[Brian]

DEMORA: It's a pleasure to meet you, Sir. My father's told me some... interesting stories about you.

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: Your father is Hikaru Sulu?

 

[Brian]

DEMORA: Yes, Sir.

 

[LeadHead]

Chekov: You've met her before, back when she was... (Chekov indicates her being much shorter)

 

[SantaTom]

KIRK: It couldn't've been that long ago...
