The only one I can think of is Jose Tyler.Does anyone noticed any trends in the names chosen for Human characters in various series? I have the impression that TOS chose first and last name pairings for minor characters that were multicultural more often (first from one culture, last from another), or that more dignified/aristocratic sounding names were given to characters in those days. Whereas TNG did a bit of that early on but shelved it.
Am I off-base/missing something?
I don't think I would describe Kirk as impatient, vain or egoistic.William Shatner, born March 22 1931. James T. Kirk, born March 22 2233. Aries (March 21-April 19) Character Traits Enterprising, Incisive, Spontaneous, Daring, Active, Courageous and Energetic, Impatient, Impetuous, Vain, Proud and Egoistic
I don't know about impatient (Kelvinverse Kirk is) but vain & egoistic? yeah maybe sometimes. Or maybe that's just the Shatner bleeding throughI don't think I would describe Kirk as impatient, vain or egoistic.
Should there be ever be a British captain?
That would be kinda nice.
An alien would be even better! An Australian anything would be nice![]()
This would be a textbook example of what I created the General Trek Questions and Observations thread for.Did any other Trek series give characters hats to wear with their dress uniforms like the reboot films did? I liked those.
