2nd rewatch of season 4 and I loved it more the second time around.....
Pity season 5 is the end I would have loved to have seen more of 10c or found their actual name. They were I think the most "alien" aliens Trek has done in a long, long time.

Also for some of us the show has brought a lot of joy over the last 3 or 4 years that we have had four seasons of fun Trek.

Watching it as a whole takes away the wait in those middle episodes. Season 4 is great franchise Trek. If you take and combine episodes 11-13 it would be the best theater Trek movie made.

But what happens if there’s a Star Trek: Defiant series (either Defiant), and they still use STD as a reference to make fun of the show? Are you still going to be bothered by everything they do?

There's not going to be a Star Trek: Defiant series. TOS, TNG, and VOY have fared better in representation than DS9 and ENT.
As far as what other people do: there's nothing anyone can do about what other people do, but there is something you can do about what you do. And, at the end of the day, you have to ask, "Who do you want to be associated with?"

I've blocked so many people on Twitter for trying to be Trek gatekeepers. You don't like Disco? Cool, you do you. But as soon as tell me I shouldn't like it, you're blocked. I love Disco, not just because it ushered in a Trek renaissance, but in its own right.
Someone on Tumblr called the Discovery 32nd century ships "Rayman ships" and now they'll forever be that
