An interesting follow-up of the characters that I never thought of. If it's true. This might be reading too much into it. Maybe not.
The Enterprise looks like it has more of a mid-century vibe to it, without looking out of place. I'll like it if the rest of the interior of the ship follows the same aesthetic.

^ I hate the "it's not cannibalism" argument. Hopefully once Zephram Cochrane made First Contact with the Vulcans, they updated the definition of "cannibalism".
Actually, in reading this article, by the University of Oxford: it looks like the theory that Homo Sapiens ate Neanderthals, during the time they co-existed, is argued to be cannibalism. Different species and yet both humanoid. Kind of like how Kelpians are a different species but also "humanoid".

For the record, this is where I stand with Star Trek...
Favorites: TOS, TOS Movies (and FC), DS9, DSC
In the Middle: TNG, VOY, Kelvin Movies
Least Favorites or Don't Like: TNG Movies (except FC), ENT
So, from my perspective, if you go from ENT to the Kelvin Films to DSC, Star Trek's been on an upwards swing. I'm one of the lucky ones.
