Now I'm really high and everything is so funny hahahah. They really don't know what to do whit 09 shit and stuff they destroyed from real canon. Actually everything they needed after ENT was off, they needed 10-15 years of pause and with this production budget of Discovery they needed to create something POST-NEMESIS but something CANON. Playing with TOS era in '09 films and Discovery was wrong. There was no need for that.
On a much more interesting note: I think I should revisit some ENT episodes. Specifically those relating to the Sphere Builders. Why do I say this? They were part of the Temporal War. And this video makes a good case that the Sphere Builders might have something to do with The Burn. This video was released four days ago and is current as of "Unification III" and the trailer for "Sanctuary". This video says: The Sphere Builders could've been the direct reason why time travel was outlawed. They also could've used their technology to destroy dilithium after a point where they knew the Federation wouldn't go back to try to undo it. There's more to what he says too, but those are the basics.
Was it just me, or did they show a dude wearing a TNG season 1 uniform in the preview for next week's episode? I didn't know, I'm sorry! Please don't beat me up. I deleted the post, if that helps any. But knowing this place, I'm guessing I'm gonna be treated like the scum of the earth for the rest of this thread, haha.
Thanks to the third season and The Burn, I've become interested in learning more about the Dark Ages. So I've started watching YouTube Videos about it. So special thanks to DSC for piquing my curiosity about that era. It's all good. You're okay in our book!
Lower Decks and Picard is Post-Nemesis. And so is Discovery, now. It's all canon, and it's all Post-Nemesis.
Well, Discovery is so far in the future that it's unlikely to affect anything canon. As for LD, first it's just a cartoon, and second, it's much more cartoonish than say TAS and so I don't think we should count it as canon. For all intents and purposes, it's a parody or a pastiche, if you prefer.
