Gay Exorcism!?!?!

^ Actually, Mike's right. Those Little Giant ladders are pretty awesome.

J.

See that's what I thought. Also, if you like wood ladders you should check out the Bandelier National Monument here in New Mexico. They have this really cool place that you get to via a series of ladders.

Ah, it's awesome. There's this big hole at the top of a cliff that you can go into. It's some pretty old ruins. Although I think the Kiva itself is reconstructed from the original.

No problems on this, don't worry!

But err, "this society"?
Thankfully, I'm in a completely different society from yours! :bolian:

Bring on the gay marriage and gay adoptions! :techman:

The former? Whatever. I'll fight hard against the latter.

Gay adoption from the perspective of the children. I happen to know the first guy in the article, Jesse. He pretty much disproves every single argument against gay adoption and he's not the only one. The only suffering these kids went through was from society's prejudices.

Here's my favorite quote from the article. It's from a leading opponent of gay marriage and adoption...
It damages the children, says Dale O'Leary, author of "One Man, One Woman: A Catholics Guide to Defending Marriage." She says that all children have a natural desire for a parent of each gender.

But children of same-sex couples are forced to repress that desire because their parents won't accept it, she says. Their parents won't acknowledge their children's needs because they don't want to admit that they have caused their children to suffer.

"A baby is not a trophy -- the child's welfare has to be considered," she says. "These children are more likely to experiment with same-sex relationships. They're more likely to be confused and hurt."

It's my favorite because of the the very first sentence of the next paragraph, emphasis mine:
O'Leary says she doesn't personally know any same-sex parents or their children.

Can you imagine someone posting those kinds of statements around here and then following them up with that revelation!? Their homophobic great-grandchildren would feel the sting of their FAIL.
