Spoilers Game of Thrones: The Final Season

I would agree that there were probably few adult innocents in the entirety of Kings Landing, but all the kids present were likely not even born when Ned was executed and shouldn't have been lumped in with them by Dany's judgment. Tyrion was right. If you go full-Aerys (and you never go full-Aerys), then you will have lost the war psychologically even if you might have won it tactically/strategically. The city should have stayed intact. The gods flipped their coin for yet another Targaryen (albeit maybe a little late in the game) and bad choices brought her fall.

I don't think they have given any interviews since the finale aired. I can see their point of view. They put their heart and soul into this, and they think they did good, but this massive negative reaction (IMDB, etc), which they somewhat expected since they went into hiding even before the finale aired, must be very disheartening to them. If they win some Emmys they may decide to come into public again. They eventually have to resurface to publicize their Star Wars film.

Congrats to GoT for the best series Emmy win. I think it won this award for its last 4 seasons, though the first 4 seasons were probably even better. Also congrats for winning more Emmys than any other dramatic series ever.

And Peter Dinklage with the most supporting actor emmys ever.

And now I am thinking about how the show that ended with the lowest rated episode EVER on IMDB just won a best drama Emmy for the year :)

Peter Dinklage also won his fourth Emmy, setting the record for the most Supporting Actor in a Drama Emmys.
