Game - "Affliction/Divergence" - Line-by-Line

Hello, Welcome!

We recently completed our Our Man Bashir Line-by-Line- thread in the DS9 forum!

After each completed thread, using a Random Number Generator, we choose the person who gets the keys to the car and selects the next episode.

This time around, Random.org selected @mattman8907 and mattman8907 chose the Enterprise episodes Affliction/Divergence to be our next Line-by-Line episodes.

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

Our "rule" is that if the episode has a "To Be Continued..." on the end, it is done in a single thread, but if it's just an arc of related episodes (like the Dominion Occupation Arc on DS9 or the Xindi Arc on ENT), each episode is a separate thread.

Get ready for a story, here we go!

KLINGON: I demand to see the magistrate.
(His captors set up a blood transfusion - it's green - and stick the needle into his arm.)
KLINGON: My death sentence was commuted!
(His breathing becomes laboured, then he cries out in pain as his forehead ridges ripple.)

Captain's Starlog, November 27, 2154. We've returned home for the official launch of our sister ship, Columbia. On a personal note, I'll also be saying goodbye to one hell of a chief Engineer.

(T'Pol enters.)
TUCKER: She's a thing of beauty.

TUCKER: A good engineer can see the differences. You coming to the mess hall later? My going away party?

TUCKER: You think I'm doing this to advance my career?

TUCKER: Well, for one thing, this is a new challenge. It took me a year to fine-tune Enterprise. I figure I can do the same for Captain Hernandez in half the time. She needs a Chief Engineer who's been out there, has the experience.

TUCKER: This may come as a shock, but not everything in my life revolves around you.

[San Francisco - Street]

(Hoshi and Phlox are leaving a Chinese restaurant.)
HOSHI: I'm glad we got here early.

[BTW, welcome to ENT forum! And @mattman8907, you have my respect for very exquisite taste :D ]

HOSHI: You didn't think Madame Chang's was going to be your little secret forever, did you?
