One thing Mariska Hargitay has is the physicality. While portraying Olivia Benson she looks like she could kick someone's ass even without super powers. She also looks like she could break the vast majority of SF babes without breaking a sweat.

I can see a resemblance to George Perez's rebooted image of Wonder Woman. Maybe just the big 80's hair, but it works for me.
