I love how when Gal says "By the book", she's referring to stuff that technically is more myth than fact. We've had plenty of female characters who use bows and I don't recall a single one of them complaining that their boobs get in the way. Not to mention that the number of Wonder Woman depictions where she slices off one of her breasts so she can use a bow better is....

How come when it comes to talking about Wonder Woman as a character and we use the phrase "By the book" to describe her, why are we not talking about her freaking comics? Shouldn't that be the number one source of getting to know Wonder Woman and her mythology? There are decades worth of material from comics, shows, games and even animated movies.
I just get the feeling that Gal and everyone involved in this movie doesn't care one bit about Wonder Woman, and instead will probably reduce her to a character like this.

She's obviously tongue-in-cheek responding to the fanboy whinge that she's not voluptuous enough to be an "accurate" Wonder Woman. And obviously when talking about the mythical Amazons you'll be dealing with... myth, not fact.

This is still directed by the same guy who did Dawn of the Dead, 300, Watchmen, and Sucker Punch, right? I thought a crap was given about the female element in those movies. I will confess to not understanding women though, so YMMV.
