She hasn't played the role yet and already the slash fiction writes itself.

I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but MeTV, a US Digital Network that only shows old shows from the 1980s and ealier, is adding the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman to their line at the end of the month. They'll be showing the pilot Friday Dec. 27th before it joins their Saturday Night Sci-Fi line the next day, Dec. 28th. It'll actually be following the Adam West Batman, so we'll be getting two hours of DC Comics series. The line-up also includes Star Trek: TOS, Lost in Space, and Svengoolie.

In the lap of squalor I assure you.
Why don't you already have all of that on DVD?

A comedian on Saturday Night Live a few weeks back said that he's looking forward to Will Smith dying so that he can watch the accompanying Fresh Prince of Bel Air marathon on BET.

The dvds can't be that expensive that "he" wishes Mr Smith dead?

Some people just want Will Smith dead and they have to make up excuses for it.

One thing I hope we do get in MOS 2 is some Clark, Bruce and Diana moments. Out of costume just hanging out.

    These make me laugh. [IMG]

Not judging from the look on his face! I love that look. Also the Bat-logo word balloon above his head.

I don't know. I have a sneaking suspicion that "The Lego Movie" will do Wonder Woman's character more justice than this movie will. I just don't see how Wonder Woman can work in a movie that's being made by people who clearly don't give a crap about the female element in ANY of these movies. Not the Dark Knight trilogy, not Green Lantern, and certainly not Man of Steel.

The only thing the film makers will care about is that Wonder Woman can kick ass. That's it. She'll have no character, no story and no presence that would warrant her a movie of her own. She'll only serve to look tough.... and that's it. And yeah. I'm sure they'll be clamoring to adapt her new 52 origin s well since that eliminates all the Amazons, her mother and makes her more male dependent than any other female super hero out there.

I was going to watch it streaming on TheWB.com, but now that I know about this, I'll just be watching it this way.

She pretty much nailed it

The whole discussion is absurd.. of course she will train and bulk up for the role but she'll never look like a female wrestler. Superman should look like a human equivalent of a mountain because that's part of his character but does Wonder Woman have to be the same?

Did anyone cry foul when Lynda Carter was playing the character and she has a normal figure (in todays size 0 climate she would have been called fat).

If the character is written well and she plays her well who cares how she looks?

Comics also are have very unnatural physiques.. most women in today's superhero mainstream comics look more like porn stars with huge breasts that in reality can only be achieved through major surgery so people might want to step back a little and differentiate between comics and live adaptations.

I liked her much in the F&F series though she didn't get to do much acting as she was a supporting actress (with the exception of one very memorable scene in FF5 ) but she was capable enough to want to see more of her (at least her acting didn't want me to pull my eyes out like other models who thought it would be nice to start acting).

Gal is perfect for Wonder Woman. Much like Amy Adams was perfect for Lois Lane, IMHO. :p
