FX orders Powers to pilot

Do we know anything about how they're setting up the stories for this yet, is it going to be actually adapting the stories from the comics, original stories, or both?

Most likely they'll do what any TV adaptation of a comic does: draw on elements from the comics and incorporate them into new stories.

As I indicated in my post it's more than likely they are adapting the first arc of the comic and using it as source material for the pilot and will carry on from there if it's picked up.

When I read that, I got mixed up and thought of the Progressive Girl. I guess I haven't seen the T-Mobile ads. Progressive Girl needs to be a superheroine of some sort. I envision her as the Wasp or maybe Scarlett Witch.

that's fantastic she's hot especially when she does motorcycl comicerials. I am just glad it's not fye.

Ok, I don't see what the problem is with the characters names is, they sound fine to me.
Any idea when we would most likely here if this is going to series?

I don't know if she is. She's working on a show called Longmire. Which also has a character that really suits her.
