Hmmm, I can envision some nutty uses for that device.
Voted Above-Average. Much, much better than the first half of this story, but since the ep 'Peter' has set the standard for 'Excellent', this one fell just a bit below that.
Still good stuff. This is what Fringe should be.
Next week: Looks like we get a modern Dr. Frankenstein for the mid-season finale.

Which means there's two possible interpretations.
1. What I alluded to above, that it's alluding to her 'crossing over'.
2. Or, it's more likely to be a metaphor referring to sacrifice, in this case, Alt-Broyles. He died so that she might live (and perhaps by extensions, billions of others might live).
With this arc over I get the feeling we'll see far less of the parallel universe (unless the war heats in time for the season finale). It's too bad, as an alternate universe fan I really got a kick out of seeing the differences in the worlds. My favorite in this episode was the Springsteen train station. 
That was a great episode!
One question, though: Who's in charge of Red Fringe Division now, Lincoln Lee?

She probably hadn't been told about his death yet. It's better saved for her visiting the body next episode as she's trying to re-adjust to life now that she's home.
