I didn't get that at all. Where was it said?

Well, besides the fact that Locke's body was found in the coffin where it had been since the plane crashed, Jacob did acknowledge new Locke as his arch rival without actually calling him by name by mentioning the loophole being found by which Jacob could be killed. Also, Terry O'Quinn said in an interview he thinks Locke is dead and gone.

I think if they had a better lead actress thsi show could kick X-Files ass. While X-Files walk around the point of the show (Aliens) and completely fucked up the whole thing with Murlder's sister, it seems Fringe went "Let's dive right it". 23 episodes in and it's pretty clear that a war is coming between the AU or dimensions and it's coming soon.

Just a quick observation about the episode. If you look at the last 5-7 minutes of last season's finale, you will notice that Oliva almost gets into a car accident in New York on her way to meet Bell with a silver Pontiac. Then in this episode, her SUV and that same car from the finale seem to have actually crashed into each other at that intersection. Some how she both avoided the crash to meet Bell (in alternate universe?) and didn't avoid the crash (real universe).

So, the actor playing Charlie is out and I get stuck with another lackluster female?

Time to alert my sister. She will be most disappointed.

There's still this Charlie:

In next week's episode, the Fringe team tries to figure out how The CW hasn't gone brankrupt yet under Dawn Ostroff, and they enlist the help of the Winchester brothers because they believe selling one's soul to the devil is the reason. They encounter Mirror Universe Dawn Ostroff, and they know she's not the real one since she's actually smart.
