"Free" Energy Machines: What would you do?

If someone were to invent a free energy machine, you know like the tinfoil hatters say exist but a giant conspiracy is keeping down.

What would you do?

If I invented a free energy machine, here is what I would do.


1. Create a "Solar Panel Farm" on my Property. The panels would be cheap panels of glass spray painted silver on one side. In an obscure shed would be the "AC/DC converter for the cells" which in actuality would be chock full of my amazing magnetic free energy engine thingies. I would produce about 2x as much energy as I would if the solar cells were actually real. Have another shed with "batteries" to supply the grid at night, in reality, they are filled with more of my machines and used batteries that don't work with GNDN (goes nowhere, does nothing) wiring.


2. Sell the energy to the electric company and take the money to buy more land and build more "fake solar farms or fake windmills" more nondescript sheds built housing my free energy devices.


3. Keep repeating my process of making "fake" solar energy farms and maybe some real ones that produce more electricity that they should, (wink wink), selling electricity till I have built up a war chest enough to buy a regional power company. Take several coal powered plants and fill them with my machines and only burn enough coal to make a diffuse small amount of smoke so no suspicions are raised. Lower my electricity rates as well for the consumers cause I don't have to buy so much coal to make power. Start selling power to other companies and take them over in the same way.


4. Once I have over 52% of total electricity in the country being produced by my free energy devices I would then open a chain of plants that would extract CO2 from the air, break sea water down and make hydrocarbons the hard way, sure it would be energy intensive, but what do i care, I have free energy! Disguise them as refineries and buy a token amount of crude from domestic producers, make about 20x the amount of hydrocarbons for the amount of crude processed. Buy oil wells and pump them full of my atmospherically recovered hydrocarbons. Sell the produced oil to China and Russia first and then to the US, take over the oil companies the same way I did for the electric companies. Build enough infrastructure to crush the middle east and OPEC financially. Use the free energy to desalinate water and take over all coastal water utilities. Also use it in energy heavy industry like refining aluminum and other metals. Seawater metal extraction could be used hand in hand with desalination.



5. When the whole world is dependent on my cheap free energy, then come clean about how I did it and how I made free energy and laugh my ass off from my personal moon base which is powered by my free energy machine. Oh and let everyone know that you have been sucking CO2 out of the atmosphere, sequestering as much oil as you have sold and underhandedly saved the earth from "greenhouse gasses". Maybe have a monument built in my honor on the moon.




So what would you do with a free energy machine, try to get investors and get debunked or exploit the living hell out of it for the betterment of mankind?

What if the device appears "free" but is actually channeling energy from a universe in a higher energy state to this universe which is in a lower energy state?

A device like this would not violate the laws of physics, but it might make god cry....

Instead of spending time on making the fake solar panels, why not buy a coal power plant and refit it with the free energy generator? Many power plants are designed to only last twenty five years of so and are sold at the end of their service lives. Pick one up cheap, claim to have invented a 'clean coal' combustor and generate away! This assumes free energy devices scale up well, that is, a 200 MW plant isn't twice as big as a 100 MW one, more like one and a half times as big.

Now all you have to do is invent free energy generation.

I used solar as an example of how to stay off the radar long enough to get get enough influence and money to silence the people who come out against free energy and would make you look like a charlatan snake oil salesman.

Enron wouldn't do something this grand for a plan of world domination, they would spend all of their time cooking their books and trying to cheat investors cause that is easier.

Plus why would it be bad thing to provide energy that is cheaper and cleaner that current forms even if you have to play pretend with Solar and wind for a while so that after a certain amount of grid is dependent on it they have to accept it as a fact, rather than calling you a crazy person with your "magic" physics defying energy machine that shouldn't work so they won't let you plug it into the grid.

If you invented a "free" energy machine and it actually worked there have been so many nut balls and screwballs who have come up with their own free energy devices that have been consistently disproved, the people who say they have come up with free energy machines should take my approach, they can stop after they hit step 2 and their machines would then become legitimised you know if they actually worked. Instead they bellyache about a conspiracy holding them down, the only thing holding them down is their own stuipidiity and lack of imagination.

An over-unity device --if I could weaponise it by positive feedback, I'd hold the world to ransom. Mwuhahahah (or however you spell that). A device for producing energy fom nothing is not something you'd want to make available to the public at large. If not for evil, they'd probably use it for heating their patios.

Actually, one type of "free"-energy machine that would work is called Salter's Duck, designed to steal 90% of the energy from ocean waves. The problem is that it has to be built full-scale and in the right type of location in order to generate electricity at competitive cost. Funding in the U.K. got nixed through falsification of data, thanks to folks from the nuclear industry, and the project was abandoned. Anyway, the design is interesting.
