Frasier revival

I would love be to see the cheers cast more than the Frasier cast. We pretty much have seen everyone from Frasier except Niles and Daphne. Whenever I watch Cheers it's like I'm just sitting in the Bar watching all the goings ons... 😂

I would like to see Niles and Daphne although I hear the actor who played Niles is adamantly against it. But maybe for the right $ and the right script, he can be convinced to do a one off cameo. We've seen it before where actors say "never" and then change their minds. I do think there is a risk of the show relying too much on cameos and memberberries. The show cannot just be about "oh look who is back from Cheers or Frasier".

Yes, he could be saying "never' because he's holding out for more money. But you would think, a one off cameo would something one would enjoy. Getting back to seeing old friends.

True but there is also the fact that some actors just get tired of a role, want to move on to new roles or worry about being type cast. The actor played Niles for 11 seasons of Frasier. That is a long time to play the same character. So maybe he is just tired of that role. But Patrick Stewart said the same thing about the role of Captain Picard but was eventually convinced to come back for 3 seasons of Picard. So you never know.

If the Cheers bar was shut down I just would like to know where Norm and Cliff go to hang out and drink now. I also like the idea that Sam and Carla are now married. Be funny if they found each late in life. Carla got elected to Congress and is a kind of liberal version of Marjorie Taylor Greene and Sam is wealthy but feels like he has no purpose in life and he seeks therapy from Fraser. That would be how he would be used on the show. As one of his patients. In the end he chooses to open a new bar and his first customers are Norm and Cliff.

I just finished episode 10 (hoping that isn't "it" for S2). Olivia's murder mystery party was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Allen was on top of his game.

I have to admit, I thought Holly seemed familiar, but I didn't realize that was Patricia Heaton until I saw the credits for episode 10. She might be more gorgeous now than ever and I never watched a ton of Raymond.

Unfortunately, this is "it" for season two.

Out of all of the returning classic sitcoms, only The Conners has ever maintained a consistent full season (once it fully revived up) and even it dwindled down in the last couple of seasons (I'm still gutted the final season is only six episodes).

Night Court has landed in a mid-teens balance, as did Fuller House (which I forgot about until just now since I never watched either show).

Otherwise it's been short seasons all around such as Mad About You (which I loved and I'm sad we didn't get more), Murphy Brown (big disappointing miss), probably a couple others I'm forgetting.

I'd be really happy with the mid-teens for this show. Ghosts (US) has 22 this season and 2 seasons ago (ignoring the strike shortened 2023).

Not sure how many episodes S3 of Animal Control will have.
