I loved the Enchanted Snooker Ball so much that, damnit, I want one of my own! Roll away, Magic 8 Ball. You no longer matter!

Oh, duh. I knew she looked familiar! I loved her character and I certainly hope we see more of her.
I thought I read she will be reoccurring. So her appearance was not so jarring to me. Mahoney's is shorthanded, maybe she can pick up a shift there and give Eve a break.
I forgot how much fun Nicholas Lyndhurst is as Alan. He's definitely in the wrong job.

Well...we're off to the races for a classic Frasier disaster...
...and then surprisingly, it wasn't as disastrous as I thought it would be. Yes, Frasier, Freddy, and Alan were utterly shameless in using John as a chick magnet and Eve was righteously furious when she found out what they had done, but it could've been far worse by Frasier's standards (both the character and the original show). Nonetheless, I loved the surprise twist that David was the perfect babysitter and how Eve put him in charge of watching the other three watching John in the future.
Good to see Roz back so soon but no Alice...yet. I'm grateful the door is open for her to return on a semi-regular basis and how neatly she fits into the new series without overshadowing the regulars.
Speaking of whom, we've finally got some teases about Alan's past and his own terrible fathering of his children. I look forward to learning about that in the future and hopefully some day get to meet at least his eldest daughter.

What a hilarious episode this week the three men shamelessly using Jack for girls. I quite like the Jack made out of wine botttles.

Loved seeing Amy Sedaris popping up as Freddy's therapist...and of course Frasier gets jealous and insecure about Freddy confining with her instead him. I loved seeing Alan surprising Frasier and Olivia when he fiercely stopped Frasier from looking at Freddy's file, thus deepening the mystery of the estrangement between Alan and his daughter. And yet, despite his vocal opposition, Alan quickly reverted back to his bumbling self during the hysterical attempt to return the file right under the therapist's eyes.
David needs a girl.
Although considering the age of Alan, said daughter could be in her 50s.
Women in their 60s can have babies, with a little help.

If Alan and Frazier are contemporaries then their children could be. So Freddy and Alan’s daughter?
Lilith was his second "later in life" wife, and he was almost 40 when Freddy was born, Alan could have comparatively gotten married (or had an accident) 10 or 20 years earlier.

We already know she's married and has a kid from last week's episode. Alan said he tried reaching out to his daughter after the birth of his grandchild (I forget the gender) and her husband told him she still doesn't want to talk to him.
Yup. That's why I bought up IVF.
Falling for unobtainable women is just standard for the unfortunately young, and it's not like he's going to close off all other opportunities, while trying to wait out her marriage, that might even be open.
Maybe what David and I both really need is an unassembled Lego Death Star, and a rainy afternoon?
Today's episode is easily one of the best episodes of the revived show, second to only the Lilith episode. In no short part due to the always devilish Bebe. I freely admit that I was actually convinced, until the very end, that Phoebe (perfect!) was actually Frasier's daughter and I was further fooled that she was an unwilling participant in her mother's machinations...when it turned out that she's exactly like her mother! So brilliant. I cannot wait to see both of them again.
I also loved the side plots of Frasier's inability to connect with Freddy and calling him "his alien son" in his memoir, Olivia's sheer enjoyment of constantly stealing from Alan in praising Frasier (plus more hints of Alan's estrangement with his daughter, finally named Nora), and David's referrals to Niles' notes about Frasier's memoir (I absolutely could hear every single one of those critiques in David Hyde Pierce's voice). The best one was the fact that Daphne loved it.

While I enjoyed last week's episode more, there are many amusing moments tis week.
I'm enjoying Roz appearing in a recurring role.
The farce involved over who was actually setting someone up was fun, as was the concern over whether Roz was actually Frasier's cousin, and was unsuitable as a dating option.
