I'm not a Fox News fan, but be fair...MSNBC is just as bad if not worse when it comes to truth-rape.

Hey, that's great. I'm not going to discuss the topic either but I'm going to post a link that's not related at all to the current conversation but it is something that I agree with.I don't start threads lightly, especially in Misc, but this is so over the top, even for a network that consistently mislabels scandal-plagued Republicans as Democrats.

I laughed because of the irony with the Warmers data when I saw this.
The actual data comes from #3 on this page I believe.

just as Republicans who get involved in sex scandals magically become Republicans on Fox News.

Here's Fox News fucking up another poll that just-so-happens to fit with their editorial slant.
Oh I know. It's a lot like saying networks that leave out important information are quality journalism. Huh-huh yup.
I'm always amused at people who think that high ratings somehow correlates to quality journalism.
As someone whose job involves political polling, I'm curious to see how Fox spins this one.
When you make these graphics for TV the goal is to make them as simple as possible and easily digestible. For the televised projects I've worked on, the numbers are passed through a bunch of different checks for accuracy before they ever hit the air. I can't imagine any scenario where presenting a graphic showing 120% the way they did was somehow acceptable, and wasn't an error or just outright deception.
My money says they'll acknowledge it as an error by their graphics department and never mention it again.

Oh that is awesome and you're right, yours has nothing to do with the topic of the thread where mine contained the data that was mistakenly botched.
It's dishonest to pass yourself off as a credible source if you don't know what you're talking about. If true, then it sounds like they're taking multiple polls and putting them together. It's not entirely dishonest, but it's nothing to be proud of.
J.
Combining polls so that they are totaled instead of averaged is entirely dishonest. I don't care who does it.
I don't think that it's dishonest. Just comes from people who never learned basic statistics.
Watch as the Daily Show rapes your face and pretty much calls Gretchen Carlson a dumb whore...that or Fox's viewers are all a bunch of dumb whores who don't know the meaning of simple words. .
