When it comes to misleading their audience, Fox News gives 110%.

I'm not going to discuss the topic either but I'm going to post a link that's not related at all to the current conversation but it is something that I agree with.I don't start threads lightly, especially in Misc, but this is so over the top, even for a network that consistently mislabels scandal-plagued Republicans as Democrats.

Here's Fox News fucking up another poll that just-so-happens to fit with their editorial slant.
So you'll let us know when MSNBC reports Democrats who fall in disgrace became Republicans just as Republicans who get involved in sex scandals magically become Democrats on Fox News. Once you can put down to as mistake - twice is pushing but 4 times?

For those of you who don't know what Marc meant to say (I know Guartho knows but for those who don't): Fox News has "mistakenly" listed Republicans involved in scandals as Democrats a number of times.

Oh that is awesome and you're right, yours has nothing to do with the topic of the thread where mine contained the data that was mistakenly botched.
But please, don't stop trying to use ridicule in place of logic. You're winning and I can see Foxnews' ratings dropping as you type.
I'm always amused at people who think that high ratings somehow correlates to quality journalism.
That response makes no sense. What are you talking about?
especailly when there's a lack of direct compeition in the market and overall you're still beating in the ratings by repeats of a kids show on Nickleodeon.
But hey if ratings reflected quality the top movie at the box office wouldn't be New Moon.
As someone whose job involves political polling, I'm curious to see how Fox spins this one.
When you make these graphics for TV the goal is to make them as simple as possible and easily digestible. For the televised projects I've worked on, the numbers are passed through a bunch of different checks for accuracy before they ever hit the air. I can't imagine any scenario where presenting a graphic showing 120% the way they did was somehow acceptable, and wasn't an error or just outright deception.
My money says they'll acknowledge it as an error by their graphics department and never mention it again.
