Fox Cancels Family Guy

Well if it was canceled Fox might actually replace it with something good.

Fox adds about 4 new shows every year and then cancels them. If they wanted to add a new show, they'd have plenty of opportunities to do so.

Alright then maybe they wouldn't have to cancel King of the Hill.

King of the Hill has been on for 12 years and probably gets worse ratings than Family Guy. How would that make sense?

I do agree. Shows like House, for example, are fantastic. But really, the good to shit ratio is pretty wide. When Fox is good, they good but damn, when they're bad...

True. Fox doesn't have much of a middle ground.

I would imagine the only thing that kept King of the Hill alive for so long is that it doesn't seem to be a very expensive show and it's in syndication on both local networks and cable.

Very true. But I wanted to see more, like the origins of Shep. I think, over time, we would have eventually known. I mean, it's still possible for Joss to resurrect the series, but I don't want it on FOX if he ever does.

Fox cancels things. It's the nature of the network. They cancel dumb shows too. It's just really hard to get a show they keep going.
