Tim Russ is the school Principal in Nickelodeon's "iCarly" which started on Friday, as well as being a recurring reg in Sam Who? (or whatever they're calling the show this week) which starts later this month
Ha! And here I thought this thread was degenerating into a "What has Beltran done lately"-discussion

Yep, Tim is in "iCarly" and he is a *regular*, not a recurring character, in "Samantha Who?" (that's the latest title), which will start in October on ABC. It will be on Monday night after "Dancing with the Stars" - but since the latter starts out with two hours, the premiere of "Samantha Who?" must wait till "Dancing with the Stars" is down to one hour-shows. Then, "Samantha Who?" will take over the second hour. As of now, the series start is scheduled for Oct. 15. Tim plays "Frank, the doorman" - he is the doorman of the house where the title character, Samantha, lives. Until she got amnesia she never paid him any attention, but it turns out he knows a lot about her and he sort of becomes her go-to-person/mentor.
Other than that, Tim is working on various other projects, he got a new CD out ("Second Thoughts") this spring, has written and directed a few more shorts ("Plugged", starring fellow Trek actors Dominic Keating, Gary Graham, Nikita Ager and Ethan Phillips, premiered in Vegas last month, the next one, "Super Heroes", is in post production - once again with Gary Graham), is about to get his children's audiobook "Bugsters!" published as a book (the book will be out some time this winter, it was also introduced in Vegas), and "Of Gods and Men" is finally nearing completion.
Tim has also been acting a lot recently, with guest appearances on various shows, e.g. "Twenty Good Years", "General Hospital", "Without a Trace", "Hannah Montana", and a small part in the movie "Live Free or Die Hard".
PS: pics from Vegas are up at http://www.timrusstribute.com/Appearances26.htm (Tim performing with his band and doing the talk on stage), http://www.timrusstribute.com/Bugsters.htm (the introduction of the "Bugsters!"-book) and http://www.timrusstribute.com/Current%20Projects.htm (the introduction of "Plugged"); I haven't gotten around to doing pics of other actors yet, but will let you know, once those are up.
