No, but it sure as hell wasn't the death penalty.Okay. So the little boy putting his rabid dog down in "Old Yeller" was doing it out of vengeance.Of course it is vengeance. What else?![]()

There are a lot of misconceptions about what you can and can't do in TNZ, all of which would be solved by reading the rules thread stickied at the top of that forum.
^ Okay, but what do those mods actually do in that forum? I had always assumed that there were no rules in TNZ. If this is not true, what are the rules there?
One of the sticky threads in That Place is titled 'Ten Simple Rules for Posting in TNZ', and contains the rules.
Wouldn't it be easier to put the rules in the FAQ or something so people can read them, *then* decide if they want to ask for access to the board?

How about this:
If, as I have just successfully (and temporarily) done, it is as easy as clicking on a radio button to gain access to TNZ, which I'm guessing that any poster can do, then why do it in the first place? Shouldn't it be a bit harder, like asking a mod for permission? That way they can help to 'vent' the place a bit.

Vent it how so?

Pre-screening. I think it's actually called "vetting", yes? Something like that. Pretty sure it starts with v.![]()
I'm just wondering why it's so easy to get into TNZ. If it's only a matter of clicking a button, which any user can do, then why have it at all? Why not just have TNZ open to everyone from the get-go? If we're going to require ANY extra steps to get in, I'm wondering why they're not a bit more stringent.

So, by holding this conversation in this thread, are you equating access to TNZ with the death penalty?![]()
