For those who love ALL trek

I just want to hear from all the people who love ALL of Trek. No matter whether it be TOS or VOY or DS9 or any of it. Who love just about any episode (save for a few minor gripes). I want people to post here, who watch any episode that may happen to be on TV, and think every series that has something worthy to contribute to the Star Trek franchise.

Who are you, and let it be known.

I love all the live action series and movie to some degree. That love stops when they decide to remake Star Trek. I've never seen all of TAS.

Happy with all 5 incarnations of Star Trek to date. They each had their high tide and low ebb.

I'm still bitter since Enterprise went down though...

Although I like all 5 in varying degrees, I too love it all. I am a big fan of the amazing over-all continuity of Trek. Sure, there have been a few stumbles, but hey, we're talking over 700 episodes.

Well, yeah, I guess that means me.

Maybe I don't love it all, but I gotta admit, even when I was bitching my head off, I watched all of VOY and ENT. Good, bad or indifferent, it's Star Trek and I just like seeing people in Starfleet uniforms on my TV. If any show of equivalent caliber to the worst of Trek were on TV, I'd watch it.

Couldn't be worse than Stargate, after all. ;)

i like all of it. even TMP and TFF have their moments.

there's 700+ episodes and only about a dozen are truly dire. that's one hell of a batting average.

I like all of it, although I admit I do like them to varying degrees. I too wish Enterprise had made it to the full seven years, because then it would have just ended, and we would only have a year without on screen Trek. I'm just glad we still have to books and comics. :bolian:

I enjoy all Trek to a certain degree. Even bad Trek usually has something that keeps it satisfying. Enterprise drove me away for a while, but I came back for Season 3.

Time for a first post, I suppose:

Star Trek, in my opinion, is a remarkable franchise that consists of 700+ hours. The many writers have stitched the fictional timeline together very well, considering the several centuries that the series covers. Good quality stuff overall.

I definatly like all 5 live action series and TOS, and all 10 movies, and looking forward to the new Star Trek Movie Christmas 2008

Each series and film has had at least one shining moment, worthy of being called Star Trek.
I like that you gave them "at least one". It implies you believe that much of Star Trek can muster only one meager shining moment amongst countless hours of putrid crap.

Well, then again...

Hell, I had no idea Star Trek sucked so much until I started coming here.

Thanks, you guys, for showing me the way.

From one Ian to another: Total agreement.

I saw most of TAS in b/w, random episodes of TOS in the 70s, and then ST:TMP, which made me a diehard ST fan and started 27+ years of fun. TMP spoke to me, and changed my life for the better.

I closely followed the making of the ST movie sequels and TNG, was underwhelmed by ST V and DS9 (until "Blood Oath"), was critical about VOY's many lost opportunities but thrilled to ENT's premiere, that series' development of Andorians, and its powerful third and fourth seasons.

I've played a Klingon captain at Universal Studios' "Star Trek" Adventure. I've met and performed on stage with numerous ST actors. I was invited to be in the fan film "Starship Exeter: The Savage Empire", even though I live in Australia, and had a park named after my character in the "Worlds of DS9" novel, "Andor: Paradigm". An Andorian character was named for me in the novel "Ex Machina". As I said, 27+ years of fun - fun that would never have happened if I hadn't picked up that TMP novelization in the supermarket in December 1979.

I eagerly await JJ Abram's Christmas gift in 2008, which will hopefully arrive in Oz on Boxing Day.
