For the metal fans here

Holy awesome. I recall seeing a commercial for this in the theatre recently, I think before "A-Team" and cursing that it was showing a night I had to work.

They're going to be showing this on VH1 and releasing it on DVD/Blu-ray here pretty soon.

ah, sweet. I'll have to keep an eye out for that.

I was really impressed with both Anthrax and Metallica. Megadeth was good, but Dave's vocals were a little thin and girly, like his voice was kind of shot. To their credit, though, they kept playing in the pouring rain and didn't even seem to notice.

Dave's voice did pick up a little bit into the show, but man, I felt bad for him those first few songs. Good performance right here:(I love all the crazy faces he's making)

Anthrax was really tight, everybody was on their A-game there. Joey Belladonna's voice was awesome as hell.

"Indians" (With a Dio tribute in the middle. Awesome.)

Slayer was, well, Slayer. I've seen them live three times and you pretty much always know what you're going to get as far as performance. They're always good. And they always radically change their setlists, which is really cool.

Metallica was just incredible. I've never had the chance to see them live, but I hope to someday, after seeing this. I thought they'd be sloppy and tired-sounding, but their performance blew me away.

If I had seen this in the late 80's I think I might have just simply died right there on the spot.

Mustaine's hair has always been epic. I'm glad he's able to do this, he may not have had the success that Metallica had after his departure but he did pretty well for himself regardless. And came up with probably two of the best metal band names.

Seen them three times(though not for over 12 years(damn)) and they have always put on a great show.

ETA: Just watched the Anthrax Indians video, great to see Joey back (what'd they do with that other guy?), they always had the goofiest lyrics but they've been around since the olden times.

I'm done with Anthrax, John Bush was an amazing vocalist and 10 times the talent that Belladonna is. I like the old stuff OK, but John Bush has a much better command of melody and is a much more powerful stage presence and performer.

Anthrax have constantly fucked about on that score, they should never have taken a dump on the guy to get Belladonna back for their reunion tour. That was cold and I thought Bush was being a big man for agreeing to come back and play some gigs with them, and then this. That shrivelled prune back again. Fuck em.

I did think it was shitty to dump John Bush, especially after releasing the critically acclaimed "We've Come For You All." I was surprised he came back. They actually had another singer named Dan Nelson for a few months as well. Kicked him out to get John Bush Back yet again, now all of a sudden Joey's back again for the third or fourth time. I like both singers, though. I'd like to see them come up with some new material with Joey before they kick him out again.

We've Come For You All is a great album IMO.

There's a whole album in the can with that Dan Nelson guy, apparently Bush said he didn't want to just rerecord the vocals on a finished album so it's been shelved for now. But I bet you Belladonna does it without a second thought ;)

Maiden is a fairly different style of Metal, to be fair. And they're big enough by themselves to outshadow everyone.

Anyway, that was pretty cool, even if I think most of them still hate each other ;)

Well, Anthrax has never had any beef with any of them. Kerry King has said on numerous occasions that he can't stand Dave Mustaine as a person.

^^^ Kerry King and Dave Mustaine buried the hatchet recently. In fact they were recently spotted out having a cup of coffee together.
