Has anybody heard of this? I read about this in a Popular Science article. A person named Devin Hubbard was doing this if I recall correctly...

It was in a Popular Science or Popular Mechanics magazine.

Regardless, I wonder how long it will be before this will be used to help advertisers figure out how to better advertise products. After all, if they know how people better think they can do it better. It worries me because advertising has always been a form of manipulation of people, with neuroscience research factored in, I worry if it will cross a line.

Another concern is that corporations can spend as much cash as they want in political campaigns and could use such knowledge to better manipulate people into supporting candidates they want.

^Pretty sure it's a synonym for breasts. Also known as juggs, gazongas, tatas, funbags, HUGE TRACTS OF LAND, boobs, knockers, twinpeaks, etc....

After all, if they know how people better think they can do a far better job. What also bothers me is that corporations can spend as much cash as they want in political campaigns and could use such knowledge to better manipulate people into supporting candidates they want. Many of which would not be in our best interest.

Strange. After seeing the trailer for the Smurfs movie, I figured Hollywood was already going their movie ideas from computers.
