Fitness Diary, apostle83

That calculators text labels are fucked up. What it's telling you is that based on your BMR, you should be getting 2424 calories per day.

But take into account that's for maintenance, not weight loss.

Also assuming he filled it out correctly, it seems as if he may actually be fairly inactive...but more active than in the past. So minus the 500 calories he needs for weight loss, he's getting what he should. Maybe he is eating foods that are still nutritionally poor, not filling enough, or he is simply used to a "fuller" feeling that comes with portions that are too large, and doesn't really know what "satisfied" means rather than full.

RAMA

I would agree with you on the "satisfied" vs "full" feeling.

Like I said, my mom took me out to eat. I... overate. Whereas in the past it would have been pleasant, it's uncomfortable now.

I think that my body is just changing.

^I know how you feel. After just two weeks of eating clean again I can't eat as much as one sitting and when I do it doesn't feel good at all. Congrats on all your progress so far!

I've never had turkey burgers but I have made chili and spaghetti sauce with turkey and both turned out pretty good.

Look at the nutrition profile, apostle (assuming you're not grinding turkey yourself :)). If it's simple ground turkey - especially ground turkey breast - you're fine.

I went to a BMI site. It says that in order to not be overweight, I must we around 200 lbs.

I was never 200 lbs when I was a three sport athlete! The lowest I was in HS was 215 I think, and when I started lifting weights I was normally 230-240.

What the hey?

Personally, apostle, I've never liked the BMI scale, other than for identifying clinically/morbidly obese people.

^I totally agree. It seems to be a scale designed for people who don't participate in any kind of physical activity.

yep, according to WiiFit's BMI scale, I need to be 152lbs to be 'fit' instead of overweight. I last weighed in the 150s at the end of high school, and I was one scrawny bastard then. 170 or so seems pretty reasonable for my height (5'10"), but it insists that's still in the 'slightly overweight' camp. Screw that scale.

I just realize that my ankles look very, very thin compared to a month ago.

Also... is the why protein at Walmart that's like 11 bucks the same as the stuff at GNC that's like 30 bucks?

I have no idea, to be honest. I assume your 'why' is 'whey' - but I don't know the brand or anything about it, bro. Do you know the brand?
