First World Problems

My buddy got free Giants tickets through work and is taking me...but he doesn't want to go early enough to ensure I can get the free bobblehead they're giving away to the first 40k fans. *sigh*

I hate when pelican crossings take too long to change.
Why do you have a crossing for pelicans? Are their wings tired?
Seriously, I've heard of zebra crossings, but what's a "pelican crossing"?

EDIT: Never mind, I Googled it.

Don't forget about a Puffin Crossing. (It's basically a Pelican Crossing with a few tweeks. Sensors to detect pedestrian's and the lights controlling the pedestrians have moved from the other side of the road to the near side of the raod.

I've been delaying finishing The Sandman Chronicles because then I will know how the story ends. I can always read it again...but not for the first time.

I will be reduced to reading my expensive collection of comic books without the shimmering delight of new experience. Woe is me.

I can never find tights that fit properly. I'm 5'2" and a UK size 16, so while I need to buy the large size to fit around my girth they're much too long, and I end up with Norah Batty legs. I don't even like wearing tights, but I have to wear business dress to work, and I only own one pair of nice trousers.

I'm pretty sure my right foot is slightly smaller than my left foot, so my right shoe always feels slightly more loose than my left shoe.

2- i said "third world immigration", not "immigration", i'm nor xenophobic

Yes, that would still make you xenophobic, just not of people from "First World" nations apparently, which is not much of an improvement.

Also, as you were asked, please leave the comments about immigrants at the door. This is supposed to be a lighthearted thread.

I think that's fairly common for one foot to be slightly smaller than the other. But on a related note why is it so hard to find footwear that fits?

I can be anywhere from an 8-10 shoe size. I miss the half size and widths that you used to get many moons ago.
