First look at new "Futurama"...

Where's Fry and the Professor?

As we've seen in the pencil-animated version of the first several minutes of the season premiere (a clip of which was posted online months ago),
Fry and the Professor survived the crash of the Planet Express ship relatively intact, but the rest only had safety bubbles around their heads, and thus were left in the state seen here.

^ Fry once told me the only thing it took to get them both naked was to give them a little privacy. But I think he's just bitter...

For anyone that didn't catch the animatic in the old thread.

Here's a new interview with David X. Cohen. Maybe very minor spoilers involved.

Nice shot at Fox:
"This journey started seven years ago with a call from Fox that we were off the air — which wasn’t a big difference from being on the air, actually, the way we were being shown sporadically at that time."

After reading the interview, I have to say that it sounds like it could be rather amazing...

:D

Wow...some of those story ideas sound good...this one in particular:

"The Professor invents a time machine that only goes forward in time. Once they start going, there is no hope of return. And the initial goal is to just go a minute forward into the future and test it out, but the Professor trips and they’re immediately 1,000 years in the future with nowhere to go but forward. So they spend the episode going further and further through all future history trying to find the technology for a backward time machine."
